As per Mom's preference we left late and arrived late. We stopped at a Mexican food place in Gualala across from the Chevron which was pretty good.
I had a few interesting alternate routes in mind such as the Stewart's Point/Skaggs Springs Rd., but there was no time. Other than that, same old Hwy 1.
